W/Cup qualifier: NFF awaits Keshi’s list for Kenya match

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has said it is still waiting on the Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi to forward the provisional list of players to be invited for the March 23 World Cup qualifying match with the Harambee Stars of Kenya. A member of the Technical Committee of the NFF Paul Bassey said on Lagos sport radio station Brila FM on Monday that the Glass House was yet to get any list from the ‘Big Boss’. According to him, once the list is drawn up by Keshi, it will be promptly deliberated upon to fast track preparations for the crunch World Cup qualifier. “We are still expecting the list from Stephen Keshi, once it is in, the technical committee will sit to discuss the list,” Bassey said. Already, there are reports that the list will soon be at the Glass House and should be made public by the end of the month as the Calabar camp of the Eagles is meant to open in the first week of next month. The Nigeria Premier League stars are expected to set the ball rolling before the foreign legion jet in to complement the squad.
